The FIRST Cruising is our new fast cruising board at a crazy price. The pack contains everything you might need to get on the water ! Very compact, quickly inflated, easy and fast on water, the FIRST Cruising has it all. You can easily fit a child at the front, or whatever would be necessary for the best picnic. Its elongated shape and profiled nose give it amazing speed when paddling. Each stroke pushes the board further and faster, even in choppy waters that get sliced by the nose. It is really pleasant. Built in the best factory in the world, the FIRST Cruising is a magnificent board at a never seen price. Forget the low cost and low quality boards coming out of low-end factories, the FIRST Cruising simply is a high end board with less accessories and a simple but styling visual to keep the price affordable. Its technology uses thick PVC, which can handle every possible family use without bending. It is a very rigid board that performs really well. GONG is a renowned and serious brand, who took Stand Up Paddle at its birth and brought it to the level of respectability and performance that is now associated with the sport . Proud of this, we would never consider building a low end board similar to those sold in supermarkets.

In a nutshell
Its shape was inspired by our racing SUP boards, with a more generous width. A beginner will be comfortable right away.
This shape is perfect for cruising with just enough stability at the back half of the board and a profiled nose to glide effortlessly. This very precise adaptation of the thousands of templates we developed in the last 30 years give this board the best balance of efficiency, comfort and ease of use.
When cruising, we love the easy glide so very particular to inflatable boards. And if you want to really get going, it will pick up speed easily. In rougher conditions, the nose will slice through the chop with ease. The outline ends with a rounded square tail that gives even more stability, maneuverability and speed.
For every size, the volume is generous and the board is accessible. A true jack of all trades, with a fast and maneuverable shape for every rider.
Rocker : relaxed and constant with lifted nose. Easy and fast rowing.
Rails : soft and round by nature on all the length, giving it a very fluid glide.
Volume : ideal thickness to offer maneuverability and rigidity.
Outline : an easy round square tail, very stable at the center with a thin nose to cope with the chop.

Quel quiver ?
Cette planche est vendue avec une pagaie alu GONG Réglable, si vous voulez améliorer la performance munissez-vous d’unePAGAIE MIX 30%, cela améliorera largement votre confort pour les sorties de plus d’une heure.
Si vous souhaitez surfer, vous pouvez compléter votre quiver avec une FIRST plus petite ou une COUINE MARIE SHORTSUP ou LONGBOARD.
Quelle longueur de pagaie ?
Votre façon de ramer, votre posture, la fréquence de vos coups de pagaie, dépendent de votre programme. Vous aurez besoin de régler votre pagaie assez haut pour une belle randonnée de plusieurs heures. En revanche, votre pagaie sera réglée très basse en surf, car vous aurez besoin de beaucoup de fréquence pour partir au take off sur une vague. Prenez le temps de bien régler votre pagaie, car cela reste le moteur de cette activité, et ce réglage sera en grande partie responsable de votre stabilité et de vos performances.
Quelques exemples :
Une session 100% surf, réglez votre pagaie entre votre taille et +10cm.
Pour surfer plus à la cool, une pagaie à +10cm sera parfaite.
En balade, réglez votre pagaie entre +10 à +20cm.
Quel leash ?
Le leash est fourni dans votre pack, il fait 10’ et se positionne sous le genou. Vérifiez son état avant chaque session et changez-le tous les ans. C’est votre gilet de sauvetage.
Equipments
The FIRST Cruising ships with a US center fin. It is known that half the performance of a SUP board comes from the fin used, hence why GONG had to install a standard US Box for the center fin which is the gold standard when it comes to the choice of the best fin for your skill level, way of riding and conditions.
The paddle is included in the pack ! It can be adjusted in length and is perfect for a beginner.
The GONG leash, which is included in the pack, is absolutely necessary to ride the FIRST Cruising safely. It is a quality leash with an ankle attachment that is both comfortable and durable.
The FIRST Cruising is equipped with a foamed center handle in neoprene to carry the board under your arm.
The net at the front of the board is discrete and super handy to secure your waterproof bag and to store the paddle when taking a break. It’s perfect for carrying safety equipment, water and a snack.
The large diameter inox ring to fix the leash is the strongest on the market.
The Deck Pad has been specially designed for efficiency and comfort. It offers a flawless grip for long sessions without tiring or slipping. It’s efficient and comfortable, whether you’re surfing or riding.
The double-action rapid inflation pump supplied is super-efficient for being the first in the water.
A repair kit is also included in case of damage (note that the kit is delivered without glue that you can easily find in a hardware store: glue for flexible PVC). Note that we have all the components of your board in stock in order to repair it quite easily.
All those equipment are packaged in a well thought out bag, built to last with good quality materials.

Delivery
Delivery delay
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Shipping fees
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Tracking your package
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
Carriers
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.
Eco-responsible packaging
Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.
The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.
For our shipments, we use:
- Scotch craft paper.
- Final packaging in high-end cardboard.
- For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.
This means:
- Reusable and recyclable packaging.
- An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.
- Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).
Receipt of your product
Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.
Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.
Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
